Safeguarding for Governors

The Safeguarding for Governors Course meets the training requirements of KCSE 2016 and covers governor, responsibilities and roles, including policy and policy review, ensuring processes are effective and being applied consistently, (SCR, DSL provision, training, reporting procedures, missing children, safer recruitment etc) what assurance and evidence to expect, how to conduct a strategic safeguarding review.

This course will be led by Trevor Kendrick, National Leader of Governance, who specialises in general school governance, safeguarding, safer handling and leadership.
