A very warm welcome to the Maplefields Teaching School Alliance based at Maplefields Academy site in Corby. Designated as a National Teaching School we have a long history of providing School Improvement, ITT and continuing Professional Training and Development.

As a unique alliance of special schools with a shared belief that together we make a difference to the lives and learning outcomes of children and young people with a disability or special educational need, whether they attend a mainstream or special school.

We support, advice and train on all aspects of education, with specialist expertise in SEND. As a collaboration of special and mainstream partners we draw on the experience, expertise and excellence of a vast professional team to focus on the entire age range 0-25 years.

Our Teaching School, together with Pen Green Children’s Centre, Research Base and Teaching School Alliance promotes outstanding educational leadership and practice to improve life chances for the most vulnerable and young people aged 0 to 25 years.

We match the best teachers and leaders to the greatest need, developing and embedding SEND skills, knowledge and understanding at the heart of the educational system, believing passionately that the best SEND teaching is the very best of teaching.
